Backgrounds: The aim of the present study is to determine the effect of eight weeks of high intensity interval training, resistance and combined training on hormonal factors and microRNAs related to obesity and sports adaptations in obese adolescent boys. Methods: 36 healthy, sedentary boys (age range: 13-15 years; BMI: 28-31 Kg/m2; Fat Percent: 32-36%) were divided into four groups of intense, resistance and combined intermittent exercise and control (no activity) based on aerobic capacity and fat percentage. Each HIIT session consisted of 6-8 repetitions of 30-60 second sprints at 80-85% (three minutes rest between repetitions). Resistance training included movements of the main muscles of the upper body, trunk and lower body. Combined training consisted of a combination of resistance training and HIIT. The expression of miRNA-133a, miRNA-1 and miRNA-143 in obese and overweight adolescent boys was measured before and after the exercise training protocols. Results: The results of the present study showed that after completing all three training protocols, the expression levels of miRNA-133a, miRNA-1 and miRNA-143 decreased significantly compared to the pre-test stage. Also, only in the combined group, a significant difference was observed between the expression changes of miRNA-133a and miRNA-1 with the resistance training group, but the expression levels of miRNA-133a, miRNA-1 and miRNA-143 did not differ between the combined group and the HIIT group.Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, it seems that using a combination of HIIT and resistance training is a suitable method to increase sports adaptations at the cellular level.

Performing sports activities along with the consumption of herbal supplements, especially in people, have different effects on the body's antioxidant and oxidant systems. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of intense interval training with chlorella supplementation on serum levels of malondialdehyde and total antioxidant capacity in obese or overweight middle-aged women. The statistical population of the present study consisted of overweight or obese middle-aged women (BMI ≤ 25) with an age range of 40 to 65 years. A number of 40 subjects were selected by invitation and based on the study entry criteria and randomly divided into four groups: exercise and supplement (10 people), exercise and placebo (10 people), supplement (10 people) and control (10 people). became HIIT exercises consisted of periods of 60 seconds of maximum intensity running (85-95% of the reserve heart rate) followed by 60 seconds of low-intensity running (55-60% of the reserve heart rate). The subjects did 6 times in the first week, 8 times in the second week. they completed the third to fifth weeks 10 times and the sixth to eighth weeks with 12 repetitions. Shapiro-Wilk test for normality of data and correlated t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post hoc test to test hypotheses was used and the significant level was considered at the alpha level of 5%.

Aim: Obesity is one of the most serious health problems associated with inflammation. Physical activity is one of the many factors that affect obesity and inflammation. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of six weeks of resistance training and high intensity functional training cross-fit on serum vaspin levels in obese women. Methods: The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test design. Thirty six obese women of Semnan (age: 32.66 ± 3.91, weight: 86.97± 9.08 and BMI> 30) were selected as available and divided into three groups of high intensity functional resistance training (HIIF), Circular resistance training and control group (n = 12). The total training period consisted of 6 weeks and 3 sessions per week and each session was about 60 minutes. Serum levels of vaspin were avaluated befor and after the last training session. Results: Serum vaspin levels did not change significantly in the circular resistance training group (P=0.876) and Crossfit training group (P=0.837). But the body mass index was significantly decreased in the circular resistance training group (P=0.001) and the Crossfit training group (P=0.006). Conclusions: Circuit resistance training and Crossfit reduce the body mass of obese women, but they do not have a significant effect on the serum level of vaspin. It is suggested to use circular resistance exercises and HIFT with a longer duration for a better effect.

Background. Galactin3 is known to be a novel inflammatory factor that increases with type 2 diabetes. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of high intensity interval and moderate intensity continuous exercise on serum levels of Galectin3 in inactive obese men.Methods. Eight obese men (mean age: 25.75±2.37 years and BMI: 31.96±3.03 kg/m2) performed protocols of high intensity interval exercise (HIIE), moderate intensity continuous exercise (MICE) and control (C) on separate days with a week. Aim: Adipose tissue, as a metabolically active tissue, plays an important role in increasing inflammatory indices. So, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of two-week high intensity interval training (HIIT) with thyme extract supplementation on some inflammatory and anthropometric markers in Tabriz city obese and overweight women. Methods: The current research was a semi-experimental study, and its statistical population consisted of overweight and obese women. To investigate CRP, ESR, TNF-α, quality of life, and body composition, 40 people were selected voluntarily with an average age of 33.07 ± 4.79, weight 76.76 ± 5.63, and body profile 29.02 ± 1.74, and were randomly divided into four homogenous groups (10 people in each group): training, supplement, training+supplement group and placebo. HIIT was performed for two weeks with 80-95% of HRR and Azarbaijani thyme was used as a supplement in two times a day. The data was analyzed using analysis of covariance test in the significance level of 0.05. Findings: The results showed that there is a significant difference in CRP (F=15, P=0.0001), TNF-α (F=25.56, P=0.0001), ESR (F=47.7, P=0.0001) , BMI (F = 20.71, P = 0.01) and WHR (F = 10.16, P = 0.01) between groups.. But there was no significant difference in calf circumference (F = 0.56, P = 0.64). Conclusion: Short-term HIIT alone or in combination with thyme reduces inflammation (CRP, ESR and TNF-α) and improve some anthropometric indicies in obese and overweight women.

Aim: The effect of exercises that consist of a set of mental and physical exercise has received less attention on reducing appetite and obesity. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hatha yoga training on Nesfatin-1 as an inhibitory factor on appetite and a regulator of energy balance, appetite and obesity indices in overweight women. Methods: In this semi-experimental study, 24 women aged 35-45 years (with a mean BMI of 28.94 ± 3.62 kg/m2) were randomly divided into two exercise (n=12), and control(n=12) groups. The exercise group participated in hatha yoga training for eight weeks and the control group continued their daily activities. Blood sampling (serum nesfatin-1) and measurement of appetite (desire to eat, satiety, fullness and hunger) and obesity (BMI, waist-to-hip ratio (W/H ), fat percentage) indicators were performed twice, before exercise and 48 hours after exercise in subjects' luteal phase. Data analysis was done by paired t-tests, ANCOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient and using SPSS23 software.Results: In the exercise group, nesfatin-1 increased significantly (p=0.001). The hunger and desire to eat decreased significantly, the satiety and fullness increased significantly (p<0.05). Obesity indicators showed a small but significant decrease (p<0.05). A positive and significant relationship was found between the reduction of hunger and obesity indicators (BMI, W/H and fat percentage), as well as the reduction of appetite, BMI and fat percentage(p<0.05).Conclusions: Mild physical and mental exercises such as Hatha Yoga can be useful in reducing the weight of obese women through appetite control.

Aim: Portulaca oleracea has anti-hyperglycemic and anti-hyperlipidemic properties. High-intensity interval training (HITT) leads to weight loss by increasing fat oxidation in shorter duration. In the present study, the effects of Portulaca oleracea supplement and HITT on glycemic control and dyslipidemia in obese female students was evaluated. Method: In an experimental study, 42 obese female students (average age: 23 years and body mass index (BMI): 31.78 ± 1.47 kg/m2) were selected and divided into four groups: control, supplement, training, and supplement with training. Supplement included two capsules of 0.5 g of Portulaca oleracea per day and training included HIIT (with an intensity of 75-90% of maximum heart rate) for 8 weeks. Anthropometric indexes, plasma glucose and lipids were measured before and after the test. Data were analyzed using two-way repeated measures ANOVA.Results: There was a significant difference between weight, BMI, glucose, triglyceride (TG) and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) in the four groups (P<0.05), so that weight, BMI, glucose, TG in three groups versus the control group decreased significantly and HDL-C increased significantly (P<0.05), and these changes were more in the supplement with training group than in the supplement and training groups alone. However, there was no significant difference between total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) in the four groups (P>0.05).Conclusion: The concomitant consumption of Portulaca oleracea supplement and HIIT can have more effect on improved glycemic control and decreased dyslipidemia in obese female students than the consumption of supplement and HIIT alone.

Introduction: Obesity and overweight are among the risk factors of some chronic diseases. The purpose is to investigate the effect of intermittent resistance training with different intensities on toll-like receptors 2 and 4 and dectin-1 levels in obese men. Methodology: 44 obese men aged 20-30 years old in Tabriz city were selected and divided into 4 control groups, intermittent resistance training with low, moderate and high intensity. The subjects did their exercises for 12 weeks, three sessions a week with 40%, 60% and 80% 1RM. 48 hours before the first session and 48 hours after the last training session, the subjects' personal characteristics and Dectin-1, TLR4 and TLR2 levels were measured. Results: The research findings showed that 12 weeks of intermittent resistance training with different intensities caused a significant difference in the levels of Dectin-1 (P=0.001), TLR4 (P=0.001) and TLR2 (P=0.001). P) in different groups. This difference is significant for the TLR4 in the moderate intensity (P=0.01) and high intensity (P=0.01) training group compared to the control. Also, a significant difference in the TLR2 were seen in the low (P=0.001), medium (P=0.01) and high (P=0.01) intensity training group compared to the control. Also, a significant difference was observed in the moderate (P=0.01) and high (P=0.01) exercise group compared to the control in dectin-1 level. Conclusion: It seems that intermittent resistance training with different intensities for 12 weeks can reduce Dectin-1, TLR4 and TLR2 levels in obese men, and this improvement is better in high and medium intensities.

Aim: Converting white adipose tissue (WAT) to brown adipose tissue (BAT) is therapeutic potential to combat obesity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aerobic training and capsaicin (Cap) on FNDC5 gene expression and irisin protein level of visceral adipose tissue in rat fed a high-fat diet (HFD).Methods: 40 male Wistar rats were fed a normal diet (ND, n = 8) or HFD (n = 32) for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, all rats were divided into 5 groups: ND, HFD, high-fat diet-training (HFDT), high-fat diet-capsaicin (HFDCap), high-fat diet-training-capsaicin (HFDTCap). Training groups have performed a progressive aerobic running program (at 15-25 m/min, 30-60 min/day, and 5 days/week) on a motor-driven treadmill for eight weeks. Capsaicin (4 mg/kg/day) were administered orally, by gavage, once a day. Results: The results of this study showed that FNDC5 expression (p=0.001) and irisin (p=0.000) was decreased in HFD group compared to ND group. Also, the expression of FNDC5 and irisin in HFDT (Respectively p=0.006, p=0.020), HFDCap (Respectively p=0.005, p=0.021) and HFDTCap (Respectively p=0.000, p=0.000) groups was significantly increased compared to HFD. The expression of FNDC5 and irisin in HFDTCap was also significantly increased compared to HFDT (Respectively p=0.037, p=0.035) and HFDCap (Respectively p=0.044, p=0.033) groups.Conclusions: Aerobic training combination with capsaicin with increased FNDC5 and irisin in visceral adipose tissue, had Interactive effects on factors affecting browning of adipose tissue.

Aim: In this study the effects of a single training session of overweight men before and after a meal on serum acetylated ghrelin levels, daily energy intake and the exercise energy expenditure were compared.
Method: In this semi experimental study, 30 overweight men (Mean and SD age of 25.2±3.54 years, BMI 27.96±3.64 kg/m2, weight 83.2±5.8 kg) were randomized into three groups (n = 10) including before lunch training, post lunch training and control. Experimental groups performed eight weeks, three sessions/wk of aerobic training sessions, consisted of 25 to 40 min of treadmill running and/or cycling at maximal fat oxidation intensity, either an hour prior to or two hours after a meal. Exercise energy expenditure, daily caloric intake and fasting serum acylated ghrelin levels in response to a single exercise session were measured as data in both pre and post-test occasions.
Results: A single training session either pre or post lunch meal increases serum acylated ghrelin level (P≤ 0/001), exercise energy expenditure (P≤ 0/001) and daily caloric intake (P≤ 0/001); indicating a compensatory energy intake which lowers the expected exercise-induced weight loss.
However, pre meal exercise leads to more remarkable increases in exercise energy cost (P≤ 0/001) concomitant with an elevated fasting serum acylated ghrelin levels (P≤ 0/001).
Conclusion: If appetite suppression is the only goal for exercise, it seems that exercise training should be performed after meals, and if maximizing each session’s energy cost is the case, it is better to practice before meals.

Aim: Unfavorable changes occur in the body composition and lipoprotein that are related to the loss of estrogen levels after menopause. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 12 weeks elastic band resistance training on mir-217 expression and cardiovascular risk factors in menopausal obese elderly women. Method: In this single blind randomized clinical trial (RCT), 49 elderly women with obesity (age 64.13 ± 3.68 years, fat percentage 45.4 ± 6.56 %, BMI 33. 1 ± 3.71 kg/m2) were divided into two groups: control (n=10) and training (n = 14). The training group performed elastic band resistance training for 12 weeks and three sessions per week for all major muscle groups. Forty eight hours before and after 12 weeks of intervention, a DEXA test was performed. Results: The results of the intergroup comparisons indicated a significant decrease in mir-217 expression and LDL levels and a significant increase in HDL in the training group compared to the control group (P≤0.05), whereas there was no significant difference in body weight, body mass index, fat percentage, total cholesterol and CRP (P≥0.05). Conclusion: It seems that 12 weeks elastic band resistance training have been able to modulate and reduce the serum concentration of mir-217 in obese elderly women, which was associated with a decrease in LDL levels and increase levels of HDL. Although body mass index, fat percentage, total cholesterol and CRP Significant changes were not observed, which requires further investigation in this field.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of aerobic exercise on the expression of lncRNAs associated with Glucose 6 phosphatase (G6P) and Glucokinase (GCK) in obese diabetic mice. Materials and methods: Eighteen C57BL/6 mice were divided into two groups: mice fed a high-fat diet (n=12) and mice fed a standard diet (n=6) for 16 weeks. Then, diabetic mice were divided into two groups: high-fat diet-exercise, high-fat diet-sedentary. The exercised mice were trained on a treadmill for 8 weeks at an average speed of 21 m/min for 50 minutes. Twenty-four hours after the last training session, the mice were sacrificed. Liver tissue was isolated and stored at -80°C. Results: The results showed that levels of hepatic glucose 6 phosphatase and MEG3 increased following a high-fat diet and decreased significantly in trained mice compared to untrained mice. In addition, the expression of glucokinase and lncLGR decreased in diabetic rats, but increased after exercise. Conclusion: The expression of Glucose 6 phosphatase may be regulated in liver tissue probably due to physical exercise and decreased MEG3 lncRNA expression. Exercise reduces the expression of MEG3, which regulates the expression of G6P in liver tissue. Under these conditions, gluconeogenesis and hepatic glucose production was reduced and insulin resistance was improved. Exercise also increased lncLGR expression, possibly leading to increased hepatic GCK expression. In this condition, blood glucose was reduced and stored in the form of glycogen in the liver.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of short-term CLA supplementation on fat burning rate during exercise in obese women. Method: The subjects of this study were 10 obese women (age 34.7±4.7 yrs, BMI 34.2±4.8 kg/m2, and weight 83.1±1.9 kg). Subjects consumed 1.5 g/day CLA for 7 days. An incremental exercise test on a treadmill was performed before and after the supplementation period to measure the maximal fat oxidation (MFO) and corresponding intensity (FATmax). Blood samples were taken before and immediately after the test for measuring the serum levels of Glycerol. Paired t-test and ANOVA with repeated measures were used to compare the means of variables. Results: There was no significant difference in mean FATmax between before and after CLA supplementation (p=0.655). Also, no significant difference was observed in MFO between before and after CLA supplementation (p=0.133). CLA supplementation after one exercise session did not have a significant effect on plasma glycerol; However, the interactive effect of these two factors was significant and increased the glycerol levels. Conclusion: In general, the findings of this study showed that CLA supplementation, at least in short-term period, does not improve the fat burning rate during exercise in obese women.

Aim: Irisin is one of the factors that mediate beneficial effects of exercise on adipose tissue conversion, uncoupling protein1 (UCP1) and metabolism. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of six weeks high intensity interval training (HIIT) with Turmeric supplementation on Irisin, UCP1 and body composition in obese females. Method: Thirty obese women (BMI=33.08±1.78 kg.m-2) age range of 20-25 years in quasi-experimental study with pre-post testing design, were selected purposefully and were randomly divided into two homogeneous groups of 15 participants: HIIT+placebo, and HIIT+Turmeric supplementation (3 milligram curcumin per kilogram body weight per day). Preparation period performed for 3 weeks and HIIT performed for six weeks (4 sessions per week). Blood samples were taken, before and 24 hours after last exercise session in the follicular phase. Serum irisin and UCP1 were measured by ELISA method. Results: In both groups, irisin levels, subcutaneous fat and BMI significantly decreased (P<0.05), and UCP1 levels and VO2max significantly increased after nine weeks intervention (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between groups for irisin, UCP1, total subcutaneous fat, BMI and VO2max values. Conclusion: Six weeks high intensity interval training with turmeric supplementation probably could improve body composition by decreasing Irisin and increasing UCP1 levels.

Anthropometrics parameters, as well as plasma levels of CRP and SAA were measured at the baseline and at the end of study. Results: Eight weeks of resistance training induced significant reduction in body weight, BMI and body fat percentage (P≤0.05). Significant reduction in plasma CRP concentration was found in compare with control group (P≤0.05). Plasma SAA levels increased in both control and training groups when compared with baseline levels (P≤0.05), But there was no significant difference in SAA levels changes between two groups. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that circuit resistance training decreases plasma CRP levels, associated with improved in body composition in obese men.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the response of the visfatin to acute endurance exercise pre and post 8-weeks trainingin untrained obese healthy men. Method: Twenty two subjects (age 29.06±3.83 years, weight 90.96±4.68 kg, height 171.3±4.88 cm, and BMI 30.76±1.8 kg/m2) were volunteered to participate in the current study. The subjects were divided randomly into two experimental (n=11) and control (n=11) groups. Experimental group participated in 8-week endurance training program three times per week. Exercise intensity increased from 60 percent of maximum heart rate to 65 to 70 percent after 4thweeks until the end of training program. Acute exercise test (cycle ergometer exercise, 30 min at 60 percent of maximum heart rate) were employed before and after training period. Blood samples were collected before, immediately, and 30 min after acute exercise at before and after endurance training period to measure plasma visfatin variations. Results: The results by two-way Anova with analysis showed before training period, visfation levels changes were not sigificant after acute exercise , immediately and 30 min aftery in both groups. Conclusion: These data indicate that endurance training is associated with decrease in resting plasma visfatin and body fat in obese men. Moreover, one bout of endurance training can decrease the plasma visfatin in response to acute exercise.

Aim: The main objective of the study was to consider the impact of 12 weeks high intensity interval training on plasma Adiponectin, Leptin and insulin resistance in 20-35 years old obese males with non-alcoholic fatty liver. Method: In this study researchers used of thirty eight participants with means of age 28.5±6.2 yrs, weight 95.4±11.8 kg and height 178.6±14.7 cm were randomly divided into two groups including experimental (N=18) and control (N=20) groups. The experimental group performed high intensity interval training for 36 sessions and 3 days per week. Intensity of training in the first session was determined with 90% of peak power output in subjects and 115% of peak power output in last session. The protocol training was 10 sets of 60 seconds repetitions of pedaling a bicycle ergometer with 60 seconds rest to 15% peak power output during exercise. Once normal distribution of collected data has been analyzed by K-S test, the pre and post mean difference significant has been analyzed by using t-paired test (p≤0.05). Results: After 12 weeks high intensity interval training in obese males with fatty liver, the results have shown a significant decrease in Leptin level, and a significant decrease in Insulin resistance level (p<0.05). However, the Adiponectin level had shown a significant increase between pre-test and post-test (p≤0.05). Conclusion: : Finally, the results have shown that12 weeks high intensity interval training in obese males with fatty liver could change Adiponectin, Leptin and Insulin resistance levels. Also, any decrease in body mass index and weight, resulted in disorder improvement.

Aim: Obesity and overweight along with metabolic disorders associated with them is one of the very important concerns in today’s world. According to the fact that chihdren and adolencrs bodies are in asensetive stage of growth and preparation for aduhthood, we aim to review the effects of high intensity interval training over the course of 12 weeks on testosterone, cortisol and lipids profiles levels in obese and overweight. Method: In this study 20 boys were selected based on per- post test in to control and high intensity interval training (HIIT) groups.Anthropometric measures, maximal aerobic speed (MAS), cortisol and testosterone levels, and lipid profile were measured in all subjects before and after training. Training group participated in a training program at 100 to 110% of MAS and 3 times per week during 12 weeks. Independent t-test and Paired t-test with a significance level of (P≤0/05) was used to analysis variables. Results: Following the training program, in training group, anthropometric measures including weight, BMI, percentage body fat and waist-hips ratio and cortisol resting level, TC, TG, LDL-C decreased, and HDL-C increased but no effect on testostron resting levels. In control group, anthropometric measures and TC, TG, LDL-C increased, while HDL-C decreased. Conclusion: Prescribing ideal training course to help obese boys has not been recognized yet But, the finding in this research shows that periodic intence work out has a economic potential, and the efficiency of training Protocol for overweight and obese people, especially children and adolescents.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aerobic exercise training on plasma vaspin concentration and insulin resistance index in sedentary overweight women. Methods: Twenty six sedentary overweight women (aged: 43.1 ± 12.6 year, weight: 73.4 ± 10.0 kg, BMI: 29.1 ± 3.2 kg/m2) voluntarily participated in an 8-weeks aerobic exercise training program included running with 40- 80% reserve heart rate, 20- 45 min/day. Anthropometric and metabolic parameters in addition to plasma vaspin concentration were measured at baseline and after 8 weeks of the training program. To compare changes in variables according to body composition alterations, we divided the subjects into responders (defined as participants who lost ≥1% of baseline body fat percentage), and non-responders (defined as participants with no change or <1% reduction in body fat percentage). Results: After 8 weeks of aerobic exercise training we did not find any significant changes in plasma vaspin concentration. Nevertheless, body weight and body fat percentage decreased significantly (P≤0.05) and plasma vaspin concentrations increased significantly (P≤0.05) in responders, but not in non-responders. Changes in plasma vaspin concentrations were significantly correlated with changes in plasma insulin and glucose levels, and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) only in non-responders. Conclusions: This study indicated that reduction in body fat percentage induced by aerobic exercise training could be an effective factor to increase plasma vaspin levels in sedentary overweight women.

Aim: Adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein (A-FABP) is a plasma biomarker recently associated with the obesity. Exercise training may reduce the adipose tissue, although it is not truly known whether exercise–induced change in adipose tissue, decreases A-FABP concentrations or not; therefore the aim of this study was to investigate A-FABP concentrations in middle-aged men after 8 weeks high intensity aerobic training.
Method: Twenty two sedentary obese middle-aged men (age: 46.4±2.3 years, body mass index (BMI): 32.8±2.0 kg/m2 and maximum oxygen uptake: 34.4±2.6 ml.kg-1.min-1; mean±SD) volunteered to participate in this study. The subjects were randomly assigned to the training group (n=11) or control group (n=11). The training group performed high intensity aerobic training 3 days a week for 8 weeks at an intensity corresponding to 75-80% individual maximum oxygen consumption for 45 min.
Results: The results showed that the BMI and body fat percentage were decreased in the training group compared to the control group (p<0.05). After 8 weeks of HIT, the training group resulted in a significant decrease (p<0.05) in the A-FABP and insulin resistance compared with the control group.
Conclusion: The results suggest aerobic training with the specific intensity and duration utilized in this study decreases A-FABP concentrations in obese middle-aged men.

Abstract
Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of exercise training in water on serum adiponectin and insulin resistance in obese children and adolescents.
Method: For this purpose 60 obese subjects (children 10-12 years and adolescents 14-16 years) were randomly assigned into one of four groups: exercise training in water for both children and adolescents, and control groups (children and adolescents). Experimental groups underwent exercise training for 8 weeks; 3 sessions per week and 60 minutes per session, with an intensity of 60-85% of maximum heart rate. Blood samples, anthropometric and body composition measures were taken before and after training program.
Results: Data analysis using ANOVA showed that exercise training in water caused a significant decrease in body fat percent, and increase in VO2max in the children and adolescents. Exercise training in water had no effect on serum adiponectin and insulin resistance.
Conclusion: In summary, since 8 weeks exercise training in water did not cause weight loss, it probably had no effect on adiponectin and insulin resistance.
